HANNAH LANGE People of the Three Rivers
HANNAH LANGE - Wiradjuri Artist
Wiradjuri people are known as the people of the three rivers: the Wambool (the Macquarie River), the Kalari (the Lachlan River) and the Murrumbidjeri (the Murrumbidgee River).
These rivers shape the Wiradjuri landscape and were a lifeline of abundant food and water provisions, ceremonies and land boundaries.
This painting represents the richness these rivers brought to the land and the people, All intertwined and connected with country.
