GABRIELLA POSSUM NUNGURRAYI Seven Sisters Dreaming

This work depicts the Seven Sisters (Pleiades) story passed to Gabriella through her family. At Twenty Mile near Napperby Creek, the sisters flee Wati-Nyiru, escaping into the sky to become the Pleiades, while he becomes Orion, forever chasing them. The seven concentric circles represent the Sisters, and the lone star depicts Orion against the Milky Way.
