To my father the moon
Be my guide in the night
Keep me from getting lost
In the dark shine your light
Be there when I’m scared
Comfort me when I’m alone
Protect me from harm
And show me a way home
Keep me safe in my sleep
Be there when I’m dreaming
And I’ll see you again
This time next evening
