JASMINE COE Red Gum 3

JASMINE COE - Wiradjuri-British Artist

Red Gum honours trees and the knowledge they hold, connecting us across past, present and future.

Rooted in Country, trees are living archives. They hold memory in their bark, branches and roots, carrying the marks of seasons and time.

Through the use of repeated line, Jasmine draws upon Wiradjuri artistic expression while reflecting the textures and patterns of red gum bark. These lines connect cultural expression with the natural world, honouring the knowledge, stories and connections carried across generations.

Red Gum invites us to listen deeply, to recognise the quiet forms of communication within the living world and the enduring knowledge held within Country.
